STUD HITTER PICKED UP OFF WAIVERS!!

An AL West team heavily upgraded their offense, which could possibly be bad news for the defending AL West champs, the Salem Knights.

Oklahoma City picked up stud hitter Tomas Tarasco off waivers from the Vancouver VooDoo. Vancouver has been looking to deal Tarasco since the end of last season, but was unable to do so. By Tarasco getting claimed, the move saves the VooDoo nearly $7M in salary this season.

Tarasco is the ideal example of dependability, playing in all 162 games 4 out of 5 seasons. He is a .312 hitter for his career, who has the ability to hit the ball out of the park at any time.
